Happy New Release, Tori Richards!

Please welcome my guest today, Tori Richards! Happy new release :)

~Cindy
_______________________________________________

HAPPY NEW YEAR’S! I want to thank my host today, who has graciously allowed me to be a guest on her blog. I’m a grandma, otherwise known as Tory Richards, who writes smut, otherwise known as erotic romance. I have 15 published books but I’m here today to plug my second self-published book, a short erotic romance between an ex-Texas Ranger and a plus-sized model. Warning… it’s hot! I’m talking up against the wall sex that will leave you breathless, and hungry for more. And probably a little in love with the sexy hero. A Perfect Fit came out Jan 5, on Amazon Kindle. Below is a brief blurb and excerpt intended for mature, over the age of 18, readers.
BlurbAn ex-Texas Ranger is hired to protect a beautiful plus-sized model from a possible serial killer! They mix like oil and water but in bed, their uncontrolled passion ignites an inferno! Can their obsession for one another turn into something deeper?
Excerpt“Well, before I can get dressed, I have to undress.” Normally Marissa would have called for an assistant. She sashayed up to Beau. “I need help, cowboy. Can you please unlace me so I can get out of this thing?” She presented her back to him, then lifted her hair out of the way and waited, holding her breath. She had to admit, the thought of his eyes roaming over her body made her hot.
There was the slightest of hesitations before she heard his low drawl, “Yes ma’am.”
Warm breath tickled the fine hairs at the back of her neck, sending shivers down her spine. She felt the graze of his knuckles against her flesh, and was surprised at how proficiently his fingers worked at undoing the laces that held her corset closed. It wasn’t long before Marissa felt the bodice give way, and then she was able to take in a deep breath again. When she felt Beau’s hands at the small of her back, she knew he was almost done. Then he sucked in his breath, and hesitated. Marissa smiled, knowing why.
“Is that an order, darlin?” His tone seemed a little raspy.
He was referring to the tattoo she had across the top of her buttocks. Fuck me hard and fast. She’d done it on a dare. Realizing where his gaze was turned her hotter.
The vixen inside her prompted her into leaning closer to him. She glanced over her shoulder and made eye contact. “More like a…suggestion.” Their gazes held. Marissa couldn’t believe how brazen she was acting. But she was suddenly horny beyond belief, and something about this big Texan got her juices flowing.
A tick appeared in his clean-shaven jaw. “Something tells me you like shocking people Miss Lambert.”
Miss Lambert? So he was determined to keep it business between them. His way of remaining professional. Interesting. She was more determined than ever to break down his self-control, and as his hands continued what they were doing Marissa let her hair fall.
            “Almost done?”
“You’ll know when I’m done,” he growled.

New Release - ANOTHER MAN'S WIFE

Another Man's Wife
By: Cindy Jacks

Available today at Ellora's Cave! http://www.jasminejade.com/m-683-cindy-jacks.aspx

After the real estate market crash, Rebecca’s money has run out—and so has her husband, leaving her alone with their son and a mountain of debt. She moves in with her sister while trying to dig herself out. When a handsome neighbor rescues her from a torrential downpour, she finds herself the object of an attraction too powerful to resist.

Jack is an aspiring writer who has a way with words and a way of making Rebecca moan his name. Each love letter he leaves Rebecca enchants her, each afternoon they spend making love draws her deeper into a relationship she can’t define. But with all her son has been through and a husband who’s missing in action, Rebecca may never be able to give in fully to her passion and desire for Jack, to think of herself as anything other than another man’s wife.

Jack paced around his apartment, unable to quiet his mind. What had he been thinking, kissing her?
“She’s married, you idiot,” he said to his reflection in the hall mirror.
Technically she was. No, not technically— Legally. Actually. Stupid, stupid, stupid. The word reverberated around his brain, a mantra of self-recrimination. He stalked into his bedroom and pulled a leather-bound journal from his desk and did what he always did when faced with a problem.

March 29

The kiss was stupid. Not the kiss itself—the kiss was spectacular—but that I did it at all was dumb. Rebecca’s married (sort of), a mother, she’s struggling to keep her head above water. She asked for my help and what do I do? I complicate her life even more. It’s no excuse, but I couldn’t stop myself. From her long hair to her round, fleshy ass and that little belly she tries to hide, but that I find sexy as hell. A woman is supposed to be soft. I want to kiss every inch of her. I want to push myself inside her and make her moan my name. And now I know what she tastes like, what her skin smells like. All I can think about is that soft, perfumed skin pressed against mine. Sinking into her wet pussy. Burying my face in her plump breasts, kissing and suckling. Would she whimper or moan? Would she let me go down on her? Would she go down on me?

A shiver racked him and he had to adjust himself lest his zipper bite into the head of his cock. “Stop it,” he admonished himself, again repositioning his throbbing erection. “Yeah, stupid, I’m talking to you,”

I don’t know what to do now. Do I apologize? She told me not to, but sometimes women say one thing and mean another. Does she hate me? She looked upset when I left. I hope she doesn’t hate me. Maybe I should just ask her.
* * * * *
March 30

Rebecca,

Don’t hate me. Please don’t hate me. I know the situation you’re in and I know that the last thing you need is another complication. But I also know that when you smile, my mind races, trying to figure out a way to keep that smile on your face. When you speak, I have to concentrate really hard to hear what you’re saying, not because I don’t think what you’re saying is important, but because all I can do is watch your beautiful mouth. I couldn’t help myself today. I had to kiss you. I don’t know if you’ll understand that, but it’s true. I had no choice. And I think you feel the same way. I felt you kiss me back. I think you like me…at least I hope you do. I hate to admit it, but it would kill me if you tell me to leave you alone. So don’t say that, okay? I’ll keep my lips to myself from now on. Just don’t hate me.

XOXO,
Jack

After reading Jack’s words, a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. She drew a sheet of paper from a drawer. Though she could call him or wait until he got home to talk to him, something about replying to him this way seemed more intimate, more appropriate than if she addressed him face-to-face. On the paper she wrote a couple of sentences, then folded it and skipped downstairs, slipping it under his doormat. A spring in her step, she ran upstairs.

Happy Release Day to me!--PHANTOM TOUCH

In case my four Facebook posts, Yahoo group pimping and umpteen tweets went unnoticed (LOL), I'm so excited to announce the release of PHANTOM TOUCH, available now at Ellora's Cave! As part of their Sex Bytes series, it's a modern day twist on the classic Phantom of the Opera tale.
http://www.jasminejade.com/p-9623-phantom-touch.aspx

Erika leads a quiet life—at least in the real world. But her alter-ego, Little Lottie, is a singer at a local club and engages in a wild online romance. For months she’s been communicating with a mysterious man, known only to her as the Phantom.

Her lover contacts her via texts, emails and instant messages. When he offers to fulfill her desires in real life, she can’t refuse. The only condition to meeting for their sizzling assignations—he wears a mask to hide his true identity. Despite his reluctance to reveal himself to Erika, he tears down her inhibitions and unleashes her suppressed passions, taking possession of her body and soul.

Erika may have finally found the one man who can sate her every longing…if only he would show her the man behind the mask.

Seven p.m. on the dot, Erika logged in as Little Lottie. Immediately a chat window opened. It was the Phantom.

Good evening, love, so glad to have you all to myself. *Folding my arms around you*.
Hey you. *giving you a kiss*. I agree. It’s the best time of the day. So what melody have you been batting around?
Check it out.

He sent her a link to his online storage drive. The MP3 file took less than a minute to download. Queuing up the file, she chewed at her thumbnail.

Stop chewing your nails.

Erika grinned.

It’s spooky when you do that. How’d you know I’m biting my nail?
You always chew on yourself when you listen to music. Or when you’re nervous.
It’s really not fair that you’ve seen me, but I’ve never seen you.
That you know of ;)
LOL, right. That I know of.
Did you hear the track?
Listening now.

She queued up the sound file on her computer and pushed play. Strains of piano chords streamed from the speakers. Picking up her guitar, she worked out the chord progression.

Love the D minor sprinkled in.
A touch of Phantom, just for you.

Butterflies flitted around her stomach.

Can’t wait to touch my phantom.
*Caressing your face* We can take it slow on Saturday.
I don’t think I can. I’ve waited long enough.
Getting physical could be complicated.
Sorry. I don’t mean to press, but…what’s the big deal about getting physical?

After a few seconds, the Phantom answered.

Because it takes our relationship to another level.
I’m ready.
I’m not sure I am.

Erika gritted her teeth. She wanted to type WHY!!!!!!!! over and over and over again. But she didn’t. Instead, she replied,

Think about it. Please. I want to make love with you. I’m sure.
When you put it that way, it’s hard not to think about it.
Pun intended? ;)
Yep. I’m really hard.
Mmm, I’m sure that’s a condition I can help you with.
I’m sure. Tell me more.

Tucking a lock of hair behind one ear, she glanced around her living room as if to be sure no one was watching her. She chuckled at her own idiocy. She was alone as usual—she lived alone, for crissakes.

I want you to kiss me passionately, pin me to the wall with your body.
Oh yeah? And then let my hand slide up your thigh.
I part my legs for you and you push a finger inside me.
Are you touching yourself now?
Yes.

She slid her hand into her panties, stroking her clit.

Turn on your webcam.

She sighed.

Nope. Only if there’s quid pro quo.
Fine. Keep going.

She extracted the hand from between her thighs to write.

When I’m good and wet I want you to push your cock inside me.
Yeah.
And fuck me.
Yeah.
And come inside me as I come. I want to feel your juices dripping out of me.
OH YEAH. God, you are so hot.

She chewed at her thumbnail and cast a guilty look around her apartment. The curtains and shades were all drawn.

I’m not, but thank you.
Whatever. If you talk like that on Saturday, I won’t be able to control myself.

Her point exactly. If he could talk dirty like that here, what was his hang-up about Saturday night? Lacking the energy to beat a dead horse, she picked up her guitar. They spent the rest of the evening working on the music and lyrics to the new song the Phantom had begun composing. He understood music in a way she never had before. He spoke it like a language, composed full dialogues, telling her just how he felt in each chord progression. His talent awed her.
By midnight, Erika yawned and stretched.

I’m beat.
Get some rest then, my Little Lottie.
You too. Good night, Phantom.
See you tonight in your dreams.

Maybe Saturday I’ll fall asleep in your arms, she thought but didn’t tell him. She’d pushed him enough tonight.
Closing the chat window, she rose from her desk chair and shuffled off to bed. Gaston Leroux’s Phantom of the Opera was already queued up on her e-reader. She read the scene where the phantom keeps Christine captive, training her voice—the implication that he was also training her body.
Erika’s thoughts turned to her phantom. The idea of being bound and fucked by a mysterious stranger appealed to her more than she dared admit to herself. She didn’t know what to expect Saturday night but she still had her fantasies. Would he be gentle or would he take her by the hair, pinning her to the wall as he shoved inside her? Her heartbeat sped up just thinking about it, a familiar ache manifesting between her legs.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, she looked at herself in the dresser mirror. One at a time, she undid the buttons of her pajama top. Teardrop-shaped breasts led to her soft abdomen and rounded hips. She wiggled out of her pants and knelt on the mattress, inspecting her naked form. As images of a dark figure stalking her spurred on her arousal, she stroked her skin.

“Must you be so crude? Is there not some topic of which we might converse that doesn’t disintegrate into the profane? Literature, perhaps. Or mathematics?”
“You are a student of the sciences?”
“I enjoy mathematics particularly, but all of the sciences have appeal.”
“Tell me, what is the mathematical probability that I’ll have the privilege of deflowering you? One might conclude that I have a fifty-fifty chance, but I don’t know if you have had past interests who might have seduced you. Perhaps Preston didn’t know either.”
“The odds are one hundred percent, as you have married a respectable daughter of an earl.”
“One hundred percent? Yet you have offered no proof.”
“I offer nothing. If you have to be slightly uncomfortable waiting to find out, then so be it.”
“I will be more than slightly uncomfortable, but I think it is prudent to wait. And it seems you’ve forgotten that just two nights ago, you were attempting to sneak away with Preston.”
“Thank you, Lord Redding,” she said with feigned pleasantness. “Thank you for reminding me why I dislike you so very much.”
He was the disreputable rake again, slouching against the coach seat.
“I forgot to mention that you have magnificent breasts,” he said, grinning like a jackanapes.
Helene’s face flamed, but she could not look away from his hypnotic gaze that peered at her through strands of black hair. His simple words brought back every detail of last night’s unwelcome advances.
“Did you enjoy it?” he asked.
“It is irrelevant whether I enjoyed it. It is my duty.”
“Duty? You wear that word like a badge of honor.”
“Is it not my duty to please my husband? To honor him?”
“Wife, I don’t think you have any idea how to please me.”
“You hardly know me.” She had much to give. In spite of her feelings for Alexander, she wouldn’t deprive her husband, but he didn’t seem to be interested in all those things she had been taught that could make his life comfortable and pleasing. “Given the right circumstance, and once I acclimate to my new life, I am sure you will find in me everything you could have hoped for in a proper wife.”
“I have a cook, a housekeeper, a valet who is almost like a mother—what else could you provide me that I don’t already have?”
“A shave.”
He laughed at her again. “Someday soon, I’m going to hold you to that. And mind you, it had better be worth the wait.” He shifted his legs and reached for her.
She squeaked. His quick pull had her sprawling unbecomingly. Her arms flailed as she sought purchase, coming into contact with his upper thigh and his arm, but he somehow guided her to his lap.
“Now about this getting to know you better.” He pressed his mouth to her neck.
Helene gasped, the shock tingling over her skin. “My lord, that is not what I had in mind and you know—”
His mouth came over hers, his teeth sank into her bottom lip and she whimpered. She was afraid to pull away. Her eyes were open wide but all she could see was the darkness of his skin, his cheek and one of his eyes, the lid closed. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see him at all.
He sucked on her lip, pulling it into his mouth and running his tongue across it. Her eyes popped open and she jerked away. “What are you doing?”
“Tasting you. Your lips are nearly the same color as your nipples, did you know that?”
“Please stop it. You are being vulgar.”
“No. Vulgar comes later when I have my mouth between your legs.”
Helene gasped, shoved her elbow against his chest and tried to free herself. “I am not one of your whores.”
His hands and arms kept her securely pinned against his body. “I happen to be discriminating. I don’t do that for just anyone, but for you… I think I’m going to enjoy seeing you speechless while my tongue commands you for a change.”
His mouth found her neck again. He used that wicked tongue along her collarbone. He nipped her chin with his teeth.
One of his wicked, quick hands searched under her short pelisse.
She attempted to slap his hand away. “This is hardly the time or place for such activities.”
Lud, you live and breathe proper. Just so you know, I don’t mind wicked. If you wanted to undress for me now, I wouldn’t say you nay.”
“I would never do such a thing.”
“Well then, let me help you.” His hand slipped inside her dress, cupping a handful of her breasts.
She wiggled again, trying to get away. One of the buttons of her bodice came free and she felt her breasts threaten to spill over. Then he slipped the first hook of her corset. It was oddly disconcerting, as everything was happening under her pelisse. “You must stop. I cannot relace my stays if you continue.” His hands were everywhere and she tried to keep him in check.
“I know how to lace a gown.”
“Not in a moving carriage!”
“It is a bit more difficult, yes.”
He worked another button loose and then slipped another of the stay clasps free. She pressed her hand to her bodice, trying to keep it from coming completely undone.
He pushed the sleeves of her dress down.
Her last defense slipped away as he untied the frogs of her pelisse, revealing her breasts fully. Edward smiled and lowered his lips to the flesh overflowing the top of her chemise. One hand cupped her below and lifted her breast to his mouth. Helene fought against the rising tension. He could upset her equilibrium so easily.
His tongue lapped along her skin. When he looked up again, he said, “You aren’t doing your duty, Lady Redding.”
“I would—I would if—”
“You want to please your husband, do you not?”
“Yes, but—”
“Then stop fighting me,” he ordered.
Helene heard the firm demand of his voice and did not know how to disobey him. Mama had repeated over and over again that Helene was to be faithful to her vows. Why had he picked obedience as the one vow to which he demanded that faithfulness?
She lowered her hands and closed her eyes, flaming with embarrassment and not a little bit of anger.
He lifted the wide swath of her skirts, pooling them in her lap while exposing one of her legs. He caressed her upper thigh, right above the tie of her stocking. She stared at his hand where his fingers moved in slow repetitive circles. Trying to breathe in the enclosed carriage became difficult, the hot air feeling like a dead weight against her chest. The heat from his mouth touched her neck, adding to her misery.
“Undo the rest of your buttons, Helene. I want to see all of you.”

Happy Release Day to Karen Stivali!

Please welcome my guest today, Karen Stivali! She's a fellow Ellora's Cave author and this is her publishing debut, YAY! Congrats, Karen :) http://www.jasminejade.com/m-743-karen-stivali.aspx

When Shari discovers that her fiancé has been cheating on her, she lets the wedding go on according to plan, except while everyone else is at the church, Shari is heading to the airport to fly off on her honeymoon with her best friend, Jon.

Jon is only too happy to help Shari escape what he knew would have been an awful marriage. Plus he’s thrilled by the prospect of time alone with her in a tropical paradise. He’s always loved her and desired her as a lot more than a friend.

A steamy, romantic night on the beach turns into a whirlwind of desire as they take their friendship to multiple new levels of passion. But when Shari’s apologetic ex tries to win her back, she must choose between the life she thought she was going to have with him and the possibility of love with Jon.

An afternoon of shopping was exactly what Shari needed to lift her spirits. She bought a new sundresses, a pair of beaded sandals and a silver cuff bracelet, all of which she planned to wear to dinner that night. She couldn’t help but notice the approving look Jon had given her when she’d tried on the sundress. It was white and clung to her in all the right places, showing off her boobs and the tan that was already glowing from the few hours they’d walked around in the Aruba sunshine.
She talked Jon into some new clothes as well. A blue linen shirt that she was hoping he’d leave unbuttoned a bit if he chose to wear it later. She handed a second shirt into the dressing room just for a chance to have a glimpse of him changing again. Watching the muscles across his broad shoulders sent ripples of pleasure through her. Has he always been this hot? How could I not have noticed?
The more she thought about it, the more she realized she had noticed. She’d caught herself staring at him more than once over the years. When he was helping her plant her garden last summer, shirtless and sweating in her backyard. When he’d helped her move, his arm muscles flexing each time he’d carried another box into her house. Running her fingers through his thick hair whenever he’d convince her to give him a haircut when he’d waited too long to get an appointment at the salon. She’d always brushed it off as a passing attraction, never giving it more serious thought. Now all of a sudden the thoughts seemed quite serious. She found herself wanting him in a way she’d never wanted anyone.
“You okay?” he asked, slinging an arm around her shoulders as they walked down the street. His touch made her legs feel loose and rubbery.
“I’m fine. I’m guessing this is much more fun than my actual honeymoon would have been.”
His lips pulled into a smile and he shot her a sideways glance, his hair sweeping low over his eyes. Her insides started to liquefy. He tugged her closer and kissed the side of her head, nearly causing her heart to stop. She imagined his lips elsewhere, everywhere. The thoughts had her so flustered she tripped on an uneven bit of sidewalk.
Jon caught her mid-fall. “Whoa.” He gripped her around her waist and she considered turning in his arms and kissing him.
Her cheeks flushed at the idea. What if he pushed me away? Sure, she’d caught him looking at her from time to time, but not once had he ever made a move on her. It seemed unlikely he thought of her “that way” and the last thing she wanted to do was fuck up their friendship.
“I think I need some coffee.” She pointed to a café on the corner.
While they were on line, she stared at Jon as he craned his neck to read the chalkboard menu that spanned the rear wall. He still hadn’t shaved and his stubbly face looked incredible. She imagined rubbing her cheek alongside his.
“You ready?” he asked.
Her eyes widened. “What?”
“To order. Do you know what you’re having? We’re next.”
She shook her head to clear it and noticed the woman behind the counter was looking at her impatiently. “I’ll have a large iced latte and the fruit salad.”
Jon had a small smirk on his face as he looked at her and she wondered what was going through his mind. Probably that she was behaving like a total ditz. “I’ll take a large iced coffee and a Cuban sandwich. And an order of sweet potato fries.”
“You like it spicy?” the girl asked, her eyes not leaving his.
Shari felt instantly annoyed at the woman. What if he were here with me? Wait, he is here with me. Who is this bitch to flirt with him so openly?
“The hotter the better.” He threw the counter girl his winning smile.
Did she actually just wink at him? Shari felt her nostrils flare as she headed to the other end of the counter to wait for their coffees.

Jon noticed the pissed-off look on Shari’s face the moment they sat down. “What’s wrong?” he asked, handing her two sugar packets from the white box on the table.
She tapped the small bags against her finger then ripped them open, dumping the contents into her coffee. “I can’t believe she flirted with you like that.”
Jon’s eyebrows popped up. “Why not? Is it so hard to imagine a woman being attracted to me?”
Shari’s mouth twisted into a grimace as she poked at her ice cubes with a straw. “What? No. But how did she know I wasn’t your girlfriend or your wife for that matter? I was standing right there.”
Is she jealous? He couldn’t keep the smile from creeping across his face. “Maybe she just couldn’t control herself.” Shari’s brow furrowed further and he laughed. “She was probably just hoping I’d toss some extra coins in the tip jar. What’s gotten into you?”
“Nothing.” She took a sip of her coffee and reached for a third sugar packet.
The thought of her being jealous gave him a renewed sense of hope. Maybe she was finally starting to look at him differently. Maybe. His chest tightened as he thought about taking her hand.
