Bewitching Trick-or-Treat Blog Hop!

Welcome Bewitching Blog Hop trick-or-treaters! First I'd like to thank Drea Becraft for putting together such an ambitious event! I have two deliciously wicked excerpts for you. Leave a comment for the chance to win an e-copy of PHANTOM TOUCH, an e-copy of CRY WOLF and a $10 Amazon gift card (YAY!)

From my alterego CJ Elliott, here's a peek at CRY WOLF, the third in the Four Brothers Clan series! Enjoy :)  http://cobblestone-press.com/catalog/author/cjelliott.htm

The youngest brother of the wolf shifter clan, Aimé des Quatre-Frères can see the future, but his powers fail him when he needs them most. As Aimé turns to dangerous methods to rekindle his visions, Natalie enters his life. Natalie’s having visions for the first time and seeks Aimé’s guidance to control her new “gift.”

The attraction to the elfin beauty is immediate, but as her mentor, Aimé knows he must focus on her education. Despite his best efforts, desire overwhelms them. Aimé takes her to his bed for a different kind of education--her first foray into love.

Excerpt:

“What's wrong?” Aime asked. Her mind raced—worries, fears, desires
flew by so quickly Aimé couldn’t get a read on her.
Natalie didn't answer at first, her gaze darting around the room.
“It's all just noise.”
“Try to sort it out.”
“I can't.” She grasped his wrists and pushed his hands away from
her cheeks. “I can't concentrate.”
He raked his fingers through his hair and then put his hands on his
hips. “Why not?”
With a sigh, she jabbed a finger at him. “Because of you. That's
why.”
“What am I doing to distract you?”
She stood in front of him, arms crossed over her bosom. Glancing
up at him, she pursed her lips then parted them, but didn't speak. Body
heat rolled off her in waves, and suddenly Aimé understood. She left her
thoughts uncloaked; images of the two of them embroiled in a kiss danced
in his mind's eye.
Desire surged through him, but he wrangled the undisciplined
emotion. It'd been decades since he'd taken a lover. His uncle had taught
Aimé to live outside his corporal needs, which wasn't to say liaisons were
forbidden… Aimé struggled with the decision to act on what he felt for
Natalie.
“You're angry with me?” she asked, interrupting his internal
dialogue.
“No. Not at all.” He started to reach for her hand, but stopped
himself.
“Maybe we should stop for now.”
“Yes, of course. If you need to take a break…by all means.” He
walked to the writing table, poured a glass of wine, and then drained it.
The family vintage warmed his chest and stoked his courage.
“I'll come back in the morning.” She gathered her journal.
“Do you want me to kiss you?” he asked.
She froze, but remained silent.
Aimé took a hesitant step toward her. Still, she didn't move or
speak. The scent of her arousal filled his nostrils; the wolf in him longed to
break free and take her. He turned and leaned against the desk, shoulder
to shoulder with her though she faced the opposite direction. Dipping his
head, he positioned his mouth close to her ear. The warmth of her skin
overwhelmed him, and he swallowed hard.
“I haven't felt this way in a long time,” he murmured.
She whispered her reply. “I never have.”
“You didn't answer me—do you want me to kiss you?”
She gave a small nod, but then turned her face away from him.
A hand on her waist, he walked around to her and wedged his hip
between her and the writing table. She tried to turn away again, but he
caught her chin. “Look at me…please.”
Her gaze met his, but she blinked rapidly as if it hurt to look at
him. “I've never kissed anyone.”
He furrowed his brow. “You're almost two hundred years old and
you've never kissed anyone.”
“I told you I’m just the caretaker. No one takes much notice of me.”
“Mmm. Well, now I have to kiss you. I can't let this insanity go on,”
he teased.
Her face turned pink, and she gave a halfhearted chuckle. Relaxing
her posture, she tilted her head toward him, resting her forehead against
his cheek. He inhaled her sweet breath and ran his nose over the bridge of
hers. Hovering there, he looked at her lips, then into her eyes, and then
down again at her mouth.
He positioned a hand at the small of her back and shifted her so she
stood in front of him, their lips so close that his tingled. With a sigh, he
leaned a bit closer, touching his mouth to hers. Joined like this, he could
hear her thundering heartbeat and read her racing thoughts. She liked
kissing him, but it also frightened her a little.
Opening his mouth, he licked at her tongue with just the tip of his.
Heat and electricity coursed through her body, but she pulled away.
Her voice shook as she said, “That's enough…for now.”
Aimé brushed her cheek with the back of his hand and then
pressed a soft peck there. “Are you all right?”
She gulped in a staccato breath, pushing past him.
“Natalie—” He tried to catch her hand, but she rushed from his
chamber and out the door.
He sank his head into his hands and admonished himself. “Stupid,
stupid, stupid, Aimé.”
There was a reason he didn't dabble in love. It only led to
distraction and heartache he could ill afford.

And writing as Cindy Jacks, here's my hot new release from Ellora's Cave, PHANTOM TOUCH.
http://www.jasminejade.com/m-683-cindy-jacks.aspx

Erika leads a quiet life—at least in the real world. But her alter-ego, Little Lottie, is a singer at a local club and engages in a wild online romance. For months she’s been communicating with a mysterious man, known only to her as the Phantom.

Her lover contacts her via texts, emails and instant messages. When he offers to fulfill her desires in real life, she can’t refuse. The only condition to meeting for their sizzling assignations—he wears a mask to hide his true identity. Despite his reluctance to reveal himself to Erika, he tears down her inhibitions and unleashes her suppressed passions, taking possession of her body and soul.

Erika may have finally found the one man who can sate her every longing…if only he would show her the man behind the mask.

Excerpt:

In one fluid motion, the Phantom entered Erika's condo and wrapped his arms around her. Crushing his mouth to hers, he coaxed her lips open and slid his tongue over hers.
Breathless, she pushed him away gently, stammering, “I-I thought we’d talk, have some wine…”
She took a moment to drink in his appearance—a black dress shirt and black pants with a white silk scarf hanging loosely around his neck. And of course a white mask covered most of his face except his chin and mouth. Despite the dark clothing, his muscular build was apparent beneath it. As always, he portrayed a beautifully wrapped contradiction. Black and white. Strong but timid. Mysterious but completely open. Well…not completely. His raspy voice intruded on her musings.
“Haven’t we chatted enough online this week?” He ran his hand up her thigh, hooking a thumb in the waistband of her panties. “But if you want…”
“No.” She wrapped a leg around him, pressing against his hard abdomen. “Silly me, what was I thinking?”
Without warning, he scooped her up. “Which way to your bedroom?”
She pointed to the right. Carrying her down the hall seemed to take little effort. In her room he laid her out on the bed, sitting next to her. From his pocket, he pulled several strips of satiny fabric.
As soon as she realized what they were for, she bolted upright. Fantasizing about bondage and allowing him to tie her up were two very different things. “What do you think you’re going to do with those?”
“Relax, love.” He caressed her face. “We won’t do anything you don’t want to do. I thought this was what you wanted.”
A flush spread through her chest and raced between her thighs. “I do. But…”
His hand meandered down her torso, grazing over her erect nipple. “But…?”
Her heart nearly clattered out of her chest. Easing herself backward to lie on the bed, she wondered what spell he held over her. The boundaries he helped her cross—they intoxicated her, but she’d never trust anyone else like this.
“Do you remember the safe word?” he asked.
“Chandelier.”
He nodded, his fingers hitching up the skirt of her dress. “So…?”
She swallowed hard. “Okay. But if it turns out to be too much—”
“I’ll stop.” He stood, pulling one of the ties through his hand. “I just want to please you, Erika.”
His words held her fear at bay, the heat building between her legs winning out over the nervous churning of her stomach. Her hand trembling, she reached out to touch his mask but he shied away. A surge of empathy coursed through her. Just what fueled his fear, she couldn’t say, but she knew one thing for sure—they were the same. Two people afraid of the real world and somehow they’d wound up here together, playing this game.
But it was their game. Their rules.
She pulled him to her, kissing him gently at first, then more urgently as she breathed in his scent. Her lips still to his she murmured, “Let’s do this.”
Without words, he spread out her limbs, carefully binding her arms to the posts of her headboard. Her cheeks flamed, the warmth spreading down her body reaching a pinnacle between her thighs.
