On the day we celebrate love, I’m planning to spend the evening huddled under a blanket with my honey, warding off the February chills, watching a great horror movie. I know, I know. How can that possibly be romantic, you ask. But consider this: Horror movies are an aphrodisiac. Yes, it’s true. Horror elicits a physical response which is very similar to sexual arousal. Your pulse quickens, your heart pounds, sometimes you even gasp or moan. Ever notice how most horror films are released around Valentine’s Day? Also true. There’s a reason for it. Hollywood figured out the connection between fear and sex long ago. Just take a peek at these February 2010 releases:
